Nic Fitの2曲はSwell 7" (BC 003)レコーディング時の未発表トラック(当時はコンピレーションに収録される予定だった)。Pinprick Punishmentは2014年2月の大雪時のスタジオセッション時にGuitaristのMasahiko Anamizuが録音したトラック。Nic FitはvocalistのHiromiが現在渡英中のため活動休止中だが、bassistのKenkenはVODOVOで活動中、GuitaristのCharlieはThe Tugで東京でもプレイしたばかりだ。Pinprick Punishmentは初のフル・レングスのアルバム・レコーディングを終えて古株のDead Beat Records/ U.S.からvinyl盤をリリース予定。

Juventud Crasa　(Puerto Rico)とのsplit 7"に続いてNicFit (Nagoya)とのsplit cassetteが4/25にリリースになるPinprick Punishment/ Black Cube Records　presentsのrelease party live

The TugはそのNicFitのguitaristのCharlie Schoolmasterと同じく名古屋在住drummerのJoey Shepardによる2014年結成のぶっ飛んだpunk duoだ。もうすぐdemo録るよと聞いていたのは今年の1月だったかな。きっとguitarはやりたい放題で、Joeyは凄いいいdrummerだと聞いていたもんだから面白いサウンドなんだろなって思っていた。Glenn BrancaもFrank ZappaもArab On Radarもまだ面白かった頃の80's HCもCharlieの部屋のあの蛇や楽器も、とにかくそんな全てから音を想像していた。bandcampで公開されたdemoは予想以上だった。

5月にアメリカ西海岸でショートツアーをするTheDeathはとにかくアクションが早い。そしてdrummerのNaoki Minamisakaは色々なことを質問してくる。面白い!! アメリカから日本に拠点を移したClient/Server is killは普段のdronecoreではなくもっとdronepunkで4/26はいくようだ。今回初めての会場となる八丁堀の七針で会いましょう。
